Always fun when there are people I work with who somehow don't know that I used to work for LEGO as a Master Model Builder. Then I get to share the video and/or the pictures.

Yeah, I think it sells for special events (WCQ, big playoff game, etc…) but if it’s 12F for a regular season MLS game against the Colorado Rapids I think a LOT of people stay home. And I won’t blame them.

Also still mad at Heath for not playing Collin Martin the match after he came out
November 9, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Never forgive Heath for not letting Miguel Ibarra have his last minute for the loons. Like it when there is that gesture to the players and the supporters who want the chance to be there.
Just want to point out that Mascherno played Ryan Sailor (long-time deep reserve; out of contract; almost certainly won't be retained next year) for 10 mins at the end of Miami's final reg season home game last month when he didn't have to. Was just a gesture of humanity/humility.

Nectarios Triantis is the exact kind of midfielder that Minnesota has needed since 2020. Press-resistent in possession, good reading in transition phases, physical against the ball. A clear pillar for the Loons going forward.

Good gracious Joseph Rosales nearly got a third for Minnesota. It gets dark early these days in Seattle, sure, but the MLS After Dark ratings are OFF THE CHARTS here

Well on the positive side, they aren’t going to give me a heart attack watching this match and worrying they have to hold until penalties. #MNUFC

Wait was that a goal? Okay! Cmon you loons!

I am not a great ref. I like to coach too much. But every time I get really worked up as a coach or spectator, I feel like I have to go out and ref a few youth matches as penance. Because it's a tough job. This guy makes me feel better both about what I can be annoyed at, and at letting it go. Thx.
Follow-up on da Silva's performance last night. I am seeing a lot of people say he was biased due to the bookings (5 to #MNUFC, none to Seattle), and, obviously, the ridiculous no-call in the 10th minute that denied Bongi a goal... 1/
I can’t even begin to grasp how utterly cowardly it was of da Silva to not call the foul by Ragan on Bongi…

- Penalty to #MNUFC
- Red card to Ragan (DOGSO, not challenging for the ball)
- Ragan suspended for G2

Went looking specifically for @vetshak.bsky.social 's analysis because I remember being so upset about a Dotson red card once and him explaining to the world (correctly and I hated it) that it was absolutely the proper set of calls then. :)

Was starting to dream up a new adventure setting for the kids at the park. Thinking points of light against the undead who own the nights. My buddy: “so basically Minecraft?”

Can’t unsee it. Sigh.

You simply cannot make me spend my time on this stuff. Oh the president said Tylenol causes autism? Well it doesn't. No I'm not going to pore through research papers to prove it to you. That's not what my time is for. My time is for playing videogames and gazing lovingly at my wife.
September 24, 2025 at 7:27 PM
A million percent this. My autistic daughter is amazing and I'd not change a thing about her, or she wouldn't be who she is. Learning how to have a deep relationship with her has made every relationship I have better and more meaningful. She's just great.
I've said this many times, but saying "people with autism" is playing directly into this perception because it sounds like something we caught instead of part of who we are. You wouldn't say a person with gayness or a person with maleness. Autism is no different. We are autistic, we don't 'have' it.
Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

Saw this #SesameStreet reel on Instagram and felt so seen, it hurt.

"And it only Tuesday."

I wasn't expecting Sesame Street to still be making hella-relatable-to-me content when I was in my 50s, but dang.

The sign I held up facing the @mnwonderwall.bsky.social As a guy who had family in this horror, the outpouring from the community had been really helpful.

Didn't expect this to hit me as hard as it did. Thank you. I wasn't sure I was going to have my normal full throat to sing with you from Sec 15.
Solidarity from Austin. I think we're sending you guys our banner that has unfortunately been to several places already
