Knocking stars off your book review due to spelling mistakes, when you were trusted with an UNCORRECTED bound proof, really is a thing some people do, huh?

When There Are Wolves Again is out in the UK today! I wrote something about the book, and keeping going, and some personal stuff I dithered over but, well, it's been A Year.

I'm so glad the book is out there and thank you so much to everyone who has supported it 🐺🤍

don't compare yourself to other people or where you think you should be or where you wish you were or even to you before it happened. it's only useful to compare yourself to where you were when you were at your lowest imo. every episode is a hard reset on Everything, so don't beat yourself up 🤝
It can be incredibly hard to see your progress when recovering from depression or burnout. The whole world keeps demanding certain benchmarks of you to the point that it’s easy to feel like a failure despite your hard work. Remember your progress is your own journey. Every win means something.

Sure, it's great to have 'subversive' "the princess doesn't need a knight and rescues herself from the dragon," but we should have more stories about the heroism of the dragon attempting to save everyone from the monarchy.
