I remember when Recettear was first localized, such a wonderful little game, and the localization was no small part of its charm. I think I'm due for another playthrough as well...
Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.

Buying a game console used to be "plug it in TV, put game in, turn on, play game", now there's zero convenience factor vs playing on PC because consoles have so much initial set up, system updates, you install games and manage disc space...just like a PC. So what's the value proposition here

Buying a game console used to be "plug it in TV, put game in, turn on, play game", now there's zero convenience factor vs playing on PC because consoles have so much initial set up, system updates, you install games and manage disc space...just like a PC. So what's the value proposition here

State Sen. Justin Eichorn, R-Grand Rapids, was arrested Monday for allegedly soliciting a minor for prostitution. The Bloomington Police Department said detectives communicated with Eichorn “who thought he was talking to a 16-year-old female” and detectives then arranged a meetup on Monday.
