Heated Rivalry shows us that the most transportive, visionary, speculative future isn’t one that looks different from our reality. It’s one that feels different. It’s a difference that we as the audience can feel as if we’ve already lived in that world too.

Watergate, but if someone was killed.
NYT confirming MS NOW reporting:

Prosecutors began investigating Renee Good's killing, then Washington told them to stop.

Federal prosecutors had a warrant to collect evidence from Good's vehicle, but Trump leaders said to drop it. About a dozen prosecutors have since departed.

Its actually good and okay to try and find moments of joy during the horrors. Dont let anyone shame you for it.

kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them

The savage layoffs and editorial undermining at the Washington Post — like the "DOGE" massacres and the takeover of Twitter — are civic sabotage, pure and simple.

When government and democratic institutions are undermined, those who want unaccountable power are strengthened.

Some of us also possessed native-speaker level Russian and Soviet birth certificates, but nothing beats Americans' exceptionalism.
Is anybody ever gonna take a step back and realize the "Russia Russia Russia" people — derided as lunatic wine moms — were actually underplaying the foreign influence stuff, and the loud people who kept insisting it was all fake are now saying Jeffrey Epstein was kind of a cool guy?

The things Ruth Bader Ginsburg set in motion is my Roman Empire. I think about the Equal Credit Opportunity Act every day. A straight line from there to the male loneliness epidemic. A queen.

"We’ll make a lot more progress against chronic illness in this century once we decide we actually want to understand what we’re dealing with," I wrote in a 2023 essay titled, "The Viral Frontier."

Look in the mirror ye mighty and despair.
Men do this because deep down they have no intrinsic sense of self worth.

Because they cannot create life they dont know what their purpose is supposed to be.

The oppression of women gives them identity: “provider,“ “protector”.

2 Woke. 2 Furious.
I think "woke" was at least partly identified with "irritating" and the way we're rectifying that in Woke 2 is by being scary instead

Men seek power to transcend nature. Which is what women's bodies, that created them, are.

The destruction of childhood is the destruction of the future.
The Right has spent years trying to push a return to child labor and attacking age of consent laws. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they’re exposing us to mountains of the most horrendous stuff imaginable while also normalizing it.

So much of what’s happening is the destruction of childhood.

While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
Epstein had many known connections to Silicon Valley CEOs, but less known was how he made money from those relationships.

We did a deep dive into how he got dealflow in Silicon Valley, giving him shots to invest in Coinbase, Palantir, SpaceX and other companies.

I’m sorry to say this, but I think it’s true:

The answer to Dr Titanji’s question, I believe, is that NO AMOUNT of preventable measles deaths will convince RFK Jr or his physician enablers to drop their opposition to vaccines

RFK Jr’s anti-vaxx beliefs are based on conspiracy theories—not data😢
It's really appalling that in the midst of a preventable surge of measles sweeping across several US states, leading national health authorities are not loudly and publicly recommending vaccination.
How many more children need to die for this madness to stop?

What did psychopaths even do before the invention of patriarchy and hierarchically stratified society? Like the Cucuteni–Trypillia culture existed from 5050 to 2950 BC in Southeastern Europe and had almost nonexistent social stratification. How did psychopaths even survive??
