Halley’s Comet is named for a British astronomer — but should it be named for a flying monk? New by me for @livescience.com 🧪
Halley wasn't the first to figure out the famous comet. An 11th-century monk did it first, new research suggests.
An 11th-century monk saw the famous "Halley's comet" first as a child and later as an adult, new research finds.

Hey if you’re going to read one thing today, let it be this.
A few months ago, ICE hired me

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

You’ve Heard About Who ICE Is Recruiting. The Truth Is Far Worse. I’m the Proof.
What happens when you do minimal screening before hiring agents, arming them, and sending them into the streets? We're all finding out.

I hear you, but as someone from the south, it is so refreshing to hear someone with a thick southern accent get to be the smartest person in the room. Even if the accent is ridiculous.
personally i believe yall are doing irreparable harm to Daniel Craig by continuing to indulge his mistaken belief that he can do a southern accent. that heist movie, these detective films...it can only end in tears
