In July 2024, I warned that if Trump were re-elected, "The age of multilateralism would be over, and something much worse will take its place. The UK and Europe will need to find the means of defending ourselves".
I was called "hysterical".
Well, here we are.

A Putin-friendly president would pose a grave danger to Europe. Like it or not, this calls for greater defence, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Best way for us all to combat Trump?

1) Boycott all US goods

2) The UK rejoining the EU - which is increasingly likely, so join the national campaign 👇👇

People will say Greenland and Venezuela isn't the same, but it really is.

The USA has no claim to either.
Neither have committed any crime against the USA.
They both have Oil/Minerals the US wants.
They are both illegally threatened with invasion or have been.

It is the same.

Yup...
Some people really need to wake up and realise that the USA isn't going to protect anybody.

But it certainly might attack you.

Five years ago, our great American democracy was put to the test, and Donald Trump failed it.

The danger he poses was clear then, and it remains clear now. We must never forget that.

Q: Could January 6th have happened if Donald Trump had not called to assemble the mob?

Legal expert: It could not. He called the crowd knowing that they responded to his dog whistles, and when he knew there was violence, when he knew that his own vice president was in danger, he let things continue

that's so crazy. i'm sure you put him in prison and banned him from ever holding office again right
Five years ago today, the United States Capitol was attacked in a violent insurrection incited by the President of the United States for one purpose: to overturn a free and fair election and cling to power in clear violation of the Constitution.

If U.S. leaders want to behave like autocrats, they should expect the consequences: loss of trust, loss of consent, and loss of the alliance architecture that has underpinned American power since 1945. #holdfast

Pathetic Maria Machado has said she will give Donald Trump her Nobel Peace Prize and begged him to invade Venezuela and install her as President.

Got to be the worst Nobel Peace Prize winner ever, what a disgrace to the Nobel Prize, to Venezuela and of course to herself.

Britain has talked itself into a flat tailspin. Had weeks of ppl telling me that the country's on the verge of catastrophe. In reality real wages are rising and the economy growing. God alone knows what ppl would say if we went back to the early 80s, 17% interest rates and four million unemployed.

The US media needs to take the gloves off - Tapper gave more respect to Miller than he warranted.

The Trump administration is unhinged, backward, fascist.

The USA is a rogue state, and if the media & the Democrats don't get their act together, it'll be lost for a long time...
MILLER: The US is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere. We're a superpower. It's absurd we'd allow a nation in our backyard to become a supplier of resources to our adversaries

TAPPER: Sovereign countries shouldn't be able to do what they want?
