One year ago today Gavin Kliger and his fellows at DOGE locked me and my colleagues out of our usaid.gov accounts as we attempted to push millions of $$ of aid to Gaza. The week that followed was chaotic, traumatizing, and so incredibly stupid. But we got that money out.
