MotoGP people, am I right in thinking Bulega has equalled Bagnaia’s points tally both weekends he’s raced in MotoGP? Surely that’s not the case.

I’ve been giving the Chinese motorcycle invasion a lot of thought recently. There’s an aspect of it that I’m not hearing expressed at all, and that’s one of the hope it gives me for the future of hobby motorcycling.

China thinks there’s a future in hobby motorcycling in the west.

I have a theory for why Gene Clark’s amazing album No Other wasn’t a hit.

The first half of the first song is a bit naff.

The best thing about opinions like this is that it isn't the magic rings, the elves, the orcs, the speaking trees that the poster is complaining about. No, it is because Tolkien disrespected geology.
Tolkein should have made the border mountains of Mordor more naturally curved, rather than at right angles. I don't care if plate tectonics weren't discovered when he wrote his books.

step 4: too expensive. borrow a big ladder
Spectacular robbery of the French crown jewels at the Louvre today: three masked men climbed a ladder, broke a window, lifted nine priceless pieces from the Apollo gallery, got away on motorbikes. No one hurt.
Reportedly the most famous piece in the room, the 140 carat Regent diamond, was not taken.

Jonathan Rea’s superlative World Superbike retirement has arrived one race early. He won’t be taking part in race two as he suffered a right knee sprain and contusion in his turn four crash in today’s incident-packed Superpole race.

I’ve been writing about and photographing him for fifteen years.

It’s the last World Superbike race weekend of the year and the title will be decided tomorrow. It’s a pretty safe bet that Toprak Razgatlioglu will claim the title before heading off to MotoGP, but it’s not absolutely certain.
