True of salesforce, servicenow, atlassiam products, etc. exactly the same capture as the lunch spot around the corner from the office
I would also say this is true of things like adobe based products or their alternatives, basically any art and productivity software, institutional alternatives have to be offered and these tiny use cases have to be dismantled.

i believe people when they say linux has gotten better in the last few years. what i'm skeptical of is that linux Guys have improved. i will not use an OS where i'm at high risk of someone calling me stupid for not liking some aspect of the experience. i must be allowed to hate the computer

People do not understand math in this fucking country and it’s killing us. The difference between 60 and 80 works out to .3 miles a minute. If youre driving 20 miles you get somewhere 5 minutes faster? You don’t care about result, you care about the feeling of action.
I care about the harm to my sanity and schedule for being forced to go artificially slow

The ideology that was sold to tech workers by tech owners was that the workers were not like other workers, that they were very special boys who were entitled to high salaries and cushy perks due to the STEMy brilliance required to do their job. Easy to see the lie now that it's falling apart.
