The recent poll by FindOutNow asked voters how having Nigel Farage as PM would affect their #Indyref2 vote. As the chart shows, those voting for centrist pro-union parties (UK Labour & the LibDems) are most likely to switch to Yes under this scenario. Hypothetical but still useful when campaigning.

Occasional reminder that a ‘Swiss style deal’ is not an off the shelf solution. Switzerland has literally hundreds of bilateral agreements with the EU negotiated over decades, many requiring referendums.
I think they will be pushed into a Swiss style deal in bits. I don’t really see any alternative. The EU doesn’t want the Uk back as a member anytime soon. It wants the redlines obeyed, which the Uk will have to back down on. Neither can Europe afford to have the UK on the outside.

Occasional reminder that a ‘Swiss style deal’ is not an off the shelf solution. Switzerland has literally hundreds of bilateral agreements with the EU negotiated over decades, many requiring referendums.

As you may know, many #indyref2 polls reweight their findings to reflect the 2014 result (11+ years ago!) thus resurrecting many deceased No voters. This chart shows figures reweighted to amend that flaw. We see a gradual increase in the Yes trend line to 53%.

While BBS correctly reports official inertia in #indyref2 polling, it’s important to recognise that the further away we get from 2014, the more bizarre using those figures to weight polls becomes. Also, there are several other factors such as turnout weighting to consider.

When I say "groundbreaking", these have been figures over past three years:
Q4 2023: 50.3% Yes vs 49.7% No
Q4 2024: 50.7% vs 49.3%
Q4 2025: 50.5% vs 49.5%
Which means this *even more hypothetical and just for fun than parliamentary projections* map just keeps getting the date and decimals changed
