Staff at a Twin Cities yarn store put together a pattern for a red knit “Melt the ICE” hat inspired by the Norwegian resistance.

They thought they would attract 10 people to a weekly knit-along.

They’ve sold 70,000 copies, raising more than $250k for immigrant aid groups.

Sure, but they‘re done with the EV grift and are all about the Robots grift now

Failing to make a car go forward, back, left and right safely has convinced investors that Tesla will surely go on to dominate the robotics market
New: Tesla 4th quarter profit plunges 61% year-over-year; annual profit down 46%

the brand damage:
-1 million lost vehicle sales, per study
-Declining revenue, profits, deliveries in 1st half of '25
-Lower total production/deliveries than '24
-Lost crown as world's leading EV seller

I mean this is exactly the kind of cringe that I think we’ll need to shamelessly and unironically embrace moving into a future of unabashed civic virtue, I feel that on the whole irony-poisoning and rejection of sincerity as embarrassing is part of how we got here
okay it's cheesy but

"it's our blood and bones
and whistles and phones
against Miller and noem's dirty lies"

got me right in the heart

I love this. Philly is absolutely neighborhoods but the lack of housing in Center City basically forced all the bars and businesses to only keep office hours because the place was a ghost town after 6pm. It was so weird. Anyway yay more CC housing.

Nancy Pelosi should have retired years ago and has made many terrible decisions but I will always be grateful that she told Rahm and everyone else to fuck themselves, held the House together, and got Obamacare through

for all its flaws it is a vast improvement over what came before
do you see why i said the bar is in hell?

how is this a good system of policymaking?

The amount of money the US government spent on troops in DC in 2025 ($223m) would have been enough to give the city's ~5,100 homeless residents each $43,000. Instead, federal troops destroyed their meager encampments.
"Federal troop deployments to U.S. cities cost a total of $496 million in 2025, CBO estimates. Continuing current deployments will cost $93 million a month; 1,000 Guard personnel deployed to a city will cost at least $18 million a month." www.cbo.gov/publication/...

In reality, Margot Frank received a summons to go to a labor camp on July 5, 1942. After ignoring this call, they were in Amsterdam illegally.

I would like to know how my prior colleagues, who have chosen to pursue leadership positions under this charlatan, justify ordering agents to break their oaths of office and open investigations on people simply for exercising their legal rights.

Good luck gazing in the mirror when this is all over.

I've been rereading Thomas Paine.

"Let it be told to the future world, that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive, that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet and to repulse it."
