Remember when Nancy Mace wore an arm sling for a week because someone she thought was trans shook her hand
If Nancy Mace was assaulted by a Biden supporter, it would be a week-long news cycle and every Democrat in Congress would be asked if they approve or disapprove

Nonviolence is, in fact, working. This administration is weaker than it was a year ago. More and more of the public is becoming galvanized against it; its agents are being impeded.
Do you honestly think people in the civil rights movement and other nonviolent movements faced no violence themselves? They practiced nonviolence because it works, because the oppressor wants a shooting war, which is the war it will win
How's your non-violent working Mr Gandhi stancil? They will kill each and everyone of you right if they had the chance and you will still be writing Kumbaya.

Democrats spanning from Jim McGovern to Seth Moulton have publicly called for abolishing ICE and there are clearly Dem votes for a shutdown so naturally "why aren't Dems saying anything?" remains the easiest way for low-effort clout chasers that don't pay attention to anything to rack up RTs

The victim of today's ICE shooting in Minneapolis is the 5th person to be shot and killed by federal immigration agents since President Trump began his crackdown last year.

This is the 19th time they've opened fire.

Susan Collins is begging Donald Trump to enact violence like this on the streets of Portland, Lewiston, Augusta. The most "moderate," vulnerable Republican politician is a 100 percent MAGA psycho and should be treated as such. If you are a moderate voter there are zero Republicans in office for you.

- The man shot by federal agents this morning has died
- Several witnesses have already been transported to the Whipple building.
- ICE attempted to order local police from the scene, but O’Hara refused, sources said.

Many of us have been pointing out that the readiness with which these agents have drawn weapons, and gotten their fingers anywhere near the trigger, is WILDLY contrary to best practices and the sort of thing that inevitably leads to people getting shot.
“Federal agents briefly detained our reporter at the scene, who says he was tackled to the ground and had a gun put in his face.”
BREAKING: Federal agent shoots man in south Minneapolis
A Bring Me The News reporter was near the scene, and recorded multiple gunshots.

This probably qualifies as "pollingism" but whatever: probably the single best thing Democrats who want to abolish ICE can focus on this cycle is flipping ME-Sen (and if you believe in miracles, holding ME-2) all the while making the case that Susan Collins's fealty to Trump on ICE cost her the race

if you heard someone on an airplane talking the way any political appointee in Trump's HHS casually talks to the press, you'd quietly get a flight attendant's attention and ask if there's an air marshal onboard
RFK Jr. appointee Kirk Milhoan has just clearly stated, out loud, that he wants to experiment on the people of the United States by seeing what happens as vaccination coverage plummets and infectious diseases spread.

In pure "having enough House and Senate seats, and the Presidency" terms, the full abolition of ICE is at the absolute most optimistic about five years away, and that's *if* they are spent organizing and winning primaries and generals, including in currently red seats. We're in for a lotta work.
