Dying for Whiteness.

Tragic.
There were 9.7 deaths for every 1,000 births in Mississippi in 2024, the highest rate in more than a decade, according to a news release from the state health department. More than 3,500 babies in Mississippi have died before the age of 1 since 2014.

Why are democrats waiting for Texas to gerrymander? Be bold. Go big. Go first. Play offense.

Or wait until Texas goes first and we don’t have enough time to get it done and only match them seat by seat so we don’t appear too aggressive.

One of these is the winning strategy.

OH LOOK: In response to my FOIA request for the Epstein grand jury materials, the DOJ says the release of the material IS NOT URGENT, despite Trump saying it is! (FYI you can support our legal action here: www.nationalsecuritylaw.org/donate )
Someone should tell Trump that DOJ is out here saying there's no particular urgency to release these records, don't you think @muellershewrote.com?

Not 114. Not 104.

84.

He would be my uncle. Not great-great or great uncle. One of my parents' siblings. This is why we remember.

Great. We all agree. So what are they going to do about it?

I asked this same question of lawyers at firms that capitulated —ironically when I was interviewed by 60 Minutes.

When democracy is at stake, don’t tell me how you feel. I don’t care what you think. Tell us what you will do.

this is going to put owning a complete dinosaur skeleton totally out of reach for the average American family
Earlier this summer, I broke the news that Sothebys — after smashing records for a private fossil sale in 2024 — was bringing a Ceratosaurus that had previously been in a museum to market. It just sold for $30 million, the third highest price ever.

The age of sky-high dinosaur prices is here.

If we want to zoom out and find a root cause for this selfishness, I think it’s an attitude that’s pervasive among America’s affluent citizens that if they can afford to do something, nobody should be able to tell them they can’t do it.

An entitlement mindset that doesn’t recognize public interest.

Start preparing now people, you can vote from abroad, you can still fight even if you do feel compelled to so from some other location.

Ending Medicaid to build concentration camps
This isn’t just a bill.

It’s a fundamental restructuring of American society in which the poor are abandoned, and “immigration jails” outrank healthcare.

Billions taken from one and given to the other.
Judd Legum explains 7 of the things in Trump's megabill:
1. Cuts $930B from Medicaid
2. 16M lose health ins
3. Slashes food asst for poor families by $186B
4. Lower incomes for bottom 40% of families
5. Increases deficit by $3.3T
6. $45B for new immigration jails
7. Billions for defense contractors
