Something BJ solved for me is that this version of LITTLE WOMEN isn't super hospitable to someone who is colorblind. So it is a really hard watch for most of its runtime for me. Maybe it would be better on rewatch where now that I understand the timelines and how they link up?

We didn't actively try to avoid talking about the murder, infidelity, or Egyptian artifact theft in Desperately Seeking Susan. That might be the plot but just isn't what it's about. Seeing a woman so cool you want to break free from your boring life and be like her. That's the heart of this movie!
