I live in Madison County IL. For Sale signs are being put up on farming ground and unharvested soybean fields. Farming ground along I270 & I255 is being scarfed and huge warehouses are being built. Residential areas boxed in by corporate buyers/developers of land limit room for growth.

Three high schoolers founded a book club that reads some of the country's most frequently banned books after a state law removing books with sexual content was signed in 2023. Two years later, many of the books have been reshelved and parts of the law can't be enforced.

This is very bad and a threat to ANYONE. IRBs were created to review and approve research studies to protect the public. Specific vulnerable groups were targeted before legislation was passed prohibiting research treatment without informed consent. Read about experiments Nazis did on prisoners.
RFK is undoing human subjects protections so he can conduct placebo trials of vaccines. That means infecting people knowingly. I wonder who will “volunteer” for these trials? If history is any guide, a lot of incarcerated and other powerless people.
Dismantling the Institutional Review Board (IRB), that oversees all human subjects research, is bad. Really bad.
