Sic Semper Tyrannis Democrat. White guy who believes white male supremacy is the single greatest threat to our republic.
Donald Trump tried to have his own Vice President killed—a sure sign that he would use maximum belligerence to attempt to secure his desired outcomes—and there were still people acting like he’d be the “peace” candidate.
Really wild to see Trump march toward war with Venezuela without even going through the motions of manufacturing consent … he’s just like going to do it.

If I wake up tomorrow to Donald Trump proposing to sell US F-35 fighter jet technology to the *Russians*—or god, even Donald Trump proposing to buy MiG fighter jet technology from the Russians—I will not be the least bit surprised.
“In days after Alaska, a European intel agency distributed a hard-copy report in an envelope to some of the continent’s most senior national security officials, who were shocked by the contents: Inside were details of the commercial and economic plans the Trump admin had been pursuing with Russia.”
Make Money Not War: Trump’s Real Plan for Peace in Ukraine
The Kremlin pitched the White House on peace through business. To Europe’s dismay, the president and his envoy are on board.

The final destination though is suspension of the writ of Habeas Corpus.

The United States will be doing the actual invasion, but this administration will have the temerity to claim that Venezuela is invading *us* to justify suspending habeas corpus.
Creating a military conflict with Venezuela gives this administration a legal "hook" to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. In other words, the foreign war is being manufactured in order to facilitate court deference for its domestic mass deportation policy. It's a Stephen Miller Special.

I just want to note the total absence of Donald Trump being characterized as a "warmonger" right now.
November 29, 2025 at 3:57 PM
As a Democratic voter who never wants to hear Donald Trump's voice ever again: I have the privilege of going to bed never hearing air raid sirens, the impact of drone strikes on residential complexes, or Russian military personnel talking about eating the pet dogs of Ukrainians.
What gives me courage is knowing that some Americans also “feel bombed” ☝🏻😔

The reason the Trump administration is coming down on those six Democrats for encouraging servicemen to not obey illegal orders is because they’ve already encouraged servicemen to obey illegal orders.”
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.
Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

We literally should be viewing Donald Trump's capacity to manage a remarkable turnaround in the public's esteem as completely non-existent.
New in PN: Why MAGA is coming apart at the seams

"It’s far too early to know if Trump will share George W. Bush's fate. But unless he manages some remarkable turnaround in the public’s esteem, Republicans will continue to edge away from him, and his problems will only grow."
Why MAGA is coming apart at the seams
Turns out they're not in it for Trump, they're in it for themselves.

This is only a hair removed from arguing for bringing back "Whites Only" signs.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

I think the worst strategic miscalculation that the West has made is assuming that supporting Ukraine makes war between NATO members and Russia more likely when the reality will likely turn out to be *not* supporting Ukraine is the actual thing that will make that confrontation more likely.

Very unfortunate answer to this question, but our weapons systems are objectively the best in the entire world... for now.

It's Donald Trump's Pentagon that announced its desire to prioritize speed of weapons systems acquisition at the expense of performance, so this won't always be true.
Per RBC-Ukraine, US arrived at the negotiations in Geneva with an ultimatum: “If you don’t support the plan, then you’re on your own with the Europeans. We’ll stop everything—both arms shipments and intelligence. We’ll cut everything off.”

Why is Europe (or anyone) still buying arms from the US?

When Joe Biden beat Donald Trump, Congressional Republicans attempted a legislative coup on top of the Donald Trump-backed coup attempt by his own base that entailed trying to have his own Vice President lynched.

If we’re serious about Nuremberg Trials 2.0, this is mutually exclusive with “forgive and forget.”
There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

And it’s being advanced without Congressional approval.
no one has even bothered trying to convince us there’s a threat from Venezuela. no weapons of mass destruction. nothing. just a war of choice because why not.
US operations against Venezuela to begin within days.

Covert ops the first move.

True. But Capitol Police might be inclined to take up this investigation since Donald Trump has a history of putting them directly in danger.
Rep. Jason Crow's office is seeking a Capitol Police investigation into Trump for what they described as "intimidating, threatening, and concerning" social media posts.

It's highly unusual for a member of Congress to request a police investigation into a sitting president of the United States.
Scoop: Democrat requests police investigation into Trump over "threatening" posts
"All of these posts are intimidating, threatening, and concerning," Rep. Jason Crow's office wrote.

If a Republican says to you that they're voting Republican "based on the economy", they are straight up lying to you as they always have been.

Republicans vote Republican to make *those* people's lives worse.

Saudi Arabia's top-trading partner is China, and sales of this nature have lead to concerns of US military technology ultimately ending up in China's hands, even if we're selling the Saudis military technology that lacks the advanced features of the military technology that we've sold to Israel.
Trump: We are going to be selling Saudi Arabia some of the greatest military equipment ever built-planes and we are working on getting that approved very quickly. It's already approved. We have to go through a process, process will take—Elon knows process will take, would you say 24 hrs? I think so

Arguing that environmentalism is bad should be treated with the same level of respect that we show to anti-vaxxers.
If there’s no shale gas then there’s no shale gas, but I still think environmentalism is basically bad and politicians should focus more on material prosperity.

Durbin took Thune at his word on a vote on the ACA subsidies while Mike Johnson was effectively making clear days earlier that he had no interest in taking up the issue in the House.

There's no erasing the reality that those eight Senators in our caucus engaged in bad Democratic politics, period.

Again, the single dumbest belief ever to have materialized was the idea that Donald Trump would turn out to be anti-war.

Elected Democrats need to be as terrified by the prospect of being primaried by their base (Black women) as elected GOP are as terrified by being primaried by their own.

If you're an elected Democrat telling someone who voted to overturn the 2020 election to come on over, you aren't scared enough.
The DNC doesn’t need a bigger tent. The tent is huge. Their problem is they don’t like who’s in the tent. They don’t consider their base to be legit until it looks like the GOP’s, hence all the running behind ppl who hung up their Klan robes just one generation back.

Just going to communicate how insane this is:
• Marjorie Taylor Greene voted to overturn the results of the 2020 US presidential election.
• Jamie Raskin urged Joe Biden to rethink running for re-election.
• He's now telling Marjorie Taylor Greene to come on over.

What the fuck are we doing here.
Raskin: We are a big tent. We must be a huge, vast tent. I say this is a party that’s got room for Marjorie Taylor Greene if she wants to come over.
