If I wake up tomorrow to Donald Trump proposing to sell US F-35 fighter jet technology to the *Russians*—or god, even Donald Trump proposing to buy MiG fighter jet technology from the Russians—I will not be the least bit surprised.
The final destination though is suspension of the writ of Habeas Corpus.
The United States will be doing the actual invasion, but this administration will have the temerity to claim that Venezuela is invading *us* to justify suspending habeas corpus.

I think the worst strategic miscalculation that the West has made is assuming that supporting Ukraine makes war between NATO members and Russia more likely when the reality will likely turn out to be *not* supporting Ukraine is the actual thing that will make that confrontation more likely.
