I lived in the days of the fucking "Mary Sue Litmus Test" and let me tell you it was not a fun time and now whenever I worry Peryn's lore is too out there I always tell myself "Yoshi-P made a tragic orphan Black Mage whose eyes glow in Enochian, I'm fine."
ff14 was truly a godsend for millennials who grew up in a climate where making mary sue ocs was the greatest sin and can now make the sexy perfect goddesses that they wanted to make when they were teenagers
