Props to Meta for having invented the perfect antidote to doom-scrolling: imposed ad-breaks. Every time I open insta, it stops loading new content after two posts in order to show me some ad. So I close it and go live life. My insta-time has gone down to nearly zero this week. 10/10 no notes

I have to thank the @gamegrumps.bsky.social; when my gen z students were walking around, confusing older colleagues with the word Gyatt, I was able to explain that it's what you stick out to the rizzler. The disgusted look on the students' faces as they forbade me to speak is all thanks to you 🥰

I absolutely love the pirate yakuza game, for just straightup turning into an actual episode of the Bachelor for half an hour.
No gameplay. Just a series of scenes with real actors, and a plot-inconsequential love story.
10/10 no notes, completely works for me, immersion intact 🥰

We love and appreciate @writnelson.bsky.social in this house, but this is a massively contentious take that I just can't bring myself to agree with. Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 2 was so incredibly mediocre that I can't even remember a single interesting story beat. Respectfully disagree 😖
I know I’m in the minority but I feel like CRDM2 also just had a lot of heart and sincerity? It was a broken, *beautiful* mess—and you can’t say that about every game.
It’s also one of the first games I remember to have an autonomous AI companion follow you throughout the entire thing. On the PS2!!
