I'm taking the plunge and putting my fiction online after years of the cop in my head telling me that it ruins your chances of ever getting "really published." Fuck that shit!

Read my story for 3 bucks! That's cheap!

by the way the automatic transmission's downshifting in Driving Emotion Type-S is like. actively hostile to you fucking up. like it won't downshift more than 1 gear every second so if you clobber a wall and lose all speed it's just like ... Suffer
Alright there we go

Anyway tip #2: The car is like me and very bad at context switching. Do one of gas, brake, or turn, and give it a looooong wait between tasks

I'm seeing positivity for Jon Ossoff on the timeline so I just want to remind everyone that he is the only Democrat to break ranks and vote against a Biden federal judge appointment.

He did it because the judge had moved a trans woman that was being raped in men's prison to a women's prison.

One of my neighbors has been putting up these fish facts posters. All kinds of different fish, marine, freshwater, deep, shallow, all kinds. This is a good one. “Stg this real fish” took me out. Good work, neighbor.

it may just be symbolic but ffs the pope should excomunicate everyone in ICE. Them and their families. What good is it to be heir of Peter, be purported holder of the key to paradise, if one will not use that honor to at least cause whatever vestige of a soul these homunculi retain to fear damnation

Reading the YA novelization of this episode did something unique and amazing to my brain. It was nearly two decades before I actually *watched it*
The X-Files is on Pluto now, so why not watch "Darkness Falls" and then read a bit about the history that inspired it?

Just to throw this in at the end: if you can afford a donation, the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund is helping detainees post bond and get them out of custody ASAP. A worthy cause.
It cost me $66.70 to get this transcript. Money well spent. I don't need anyone to reimburse me.

But, if you got something out of this transcript, please consider making a $66.70 donation, or even $6.67, to the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund, which posts bond for immigration detainees.

My co-author Dr. Megan Condis and I gathered nearly 3,000 print ads from the console wars era to analyze whether the popular narrative that "Sega was for rad teens and Nintendo was for babies" actually holds up.

The results paint a slightly more nuanced picture.

Read about it on @aftermath.site!
