I dunno. I think this thing I wrote on DMs Guild in 2020 (The Bigger Book of Bastards) about half-races was pretty good. Minimal changes to 5e rules (pre-Tasha’s) but offering some flavour. Shame I only sold about 5 in total. Reckon it’s decently-written. May still offer some inspo. Extract below.

After work today I went to my boot and put the bag I was carrying down for a moment on…light grey concrete…not dark concrete from water…honestly took me a moment to realise what I was looking at. It’s been so long since it was dry enough to dry the ground out even a little!

Autoplay turned back on with the latest bluesky update. At least for me, anyway. Worth checking.

This is one of my favorite optical illusions, because even when you know specifically HOW IT WORKS, it's still hard to make your brain believe it.

The image below is real-world video, but you're being tricked into believing it's an elaborate miniature by the DIORAMA EFFECT.

Let's talk about it.

@ellipsis.bsky.social Hey, just a random message to say thank you for Goblins. I love it and I think what you do is awesome! I figure sometimes people just need to hear things like that.

Clive Myrie’s African Adventure is such a hard watch because everything is an in-show trailer for later in the show. I’ve seen the bit where he strings beads twice already and I know I’ll see it again before he actually gets to it. Was the same yesterday. Actual content is rather slim as a result.

Sorcerer for me, with a bit of (I presume beast master) Ranger thrown in.

Disturbingly, based on the location of the pixelated parts, the animals in the Quorn advert appear to have erections. This is most bizarre.

I thought it might be nice to give away my last 2 signed hardbacks of my novel 1983, with two lovely linocut hares by my mum.

All you have to do to enter is repost this (& leave a reply).

The book's been called "Stranger Things rewritten by Kurt Vonnegut and Sue Townsend”.
Extract in the replies.

If I had to say which were my top five albums of all time…in no particular order:
- This is the Sea, Waterboys (esp when seen as a construct from start to end)
- Bat out of Hell, Meatloaf
- Rumours, Fleetwood Mac
- The Stone Roses, Stone Roses
- Substance, New Order (bit of a cheat as compilation)

Well, I thought the final episode of Stranger Things was great. They really ended it well. Bonus points for Pixies and Cowboy Junkies on the soundtrack too.

Hello @2000ad.bsky.social - happy Christmas - is the second part of Hap Hazzard ‘life death and dry cleaning’ in the annual meant to be without speech bubbles?
