Having some fun with the John Hodgson backdrop books. I need to have more of an experiment with layering foreground elements to lend more depth to things, but for a first outing to try and get a group shot, this isn't too bad!

That's the 40pt Blitz force for The Reclaimed from @thelazyforger done! Could easily have finished these guys a couple days ago were I not so lazy with the basing! Nice and quick, very simple, and they look the business on the table.

An opinion that I have that is not connected to anything is that any creating being done is good. Everyone should create, it's good for the brain. You don't have to make masterpieces, you don't even have to ever show anyone else just do it. Draw a doodle, contemplate a unique world, sing a song.

Just a little basing left to do and then the @thelazyforger.bsky.social Reclaimed Blitz Force will be done, to join the bigger Cyclops dudes I painted earlier.
Most of these were basecoated with the AP Speedpaint pens - I was surprised at how much I could get in with the silver one, really.
