Well this is now scheduled! No idea who will be turning up, or their RPG experience so will have to play it by ear on the day as regards difficulty. Going to be a dungeon bash with a two hour session limit. #osr
Have offered to run two OD&D sessions as part of our college's staff "wellness" day of extra-curricular interest workshops later this year. I will almost certainly regret this later but at least it will get me out of having to sign up to other people's sessions.

I think one aspect many blood bowl clones forget is just how fun and goofy bloodbowl is. It's, bright, colorful, full of character, and isn't taken seriously in the slightest. Goblins and elves playing American football is a part of the appeal, after all.

This. There should be a real feeling of body horror about what a Space Marine has become. Instead we get Happy Vikings, Roman Legionaries, and Sparkly Edward Cullen Bishounen.
This is what Space Marines should look like. I’ve got a long running project where I’m trying to replicate some of the skrunginess of them.
