This kit was quite a bit challenging. Usually I don’t do much subassemblies with my orks, but this kit required to be partly painted before final assembly.
Therefore I left this kit partly finished for over three years, before i finally tackled it last orctober.

Haven’t worked on the second tactical squad from that old box set in a while now. Removed the dust and continued working on them. Most of the details are already done, mostly the armor itself need some shading and highlighting.
Excited to have them finished soon :)

Finished my Oldhammer Terminator Captain for my howling griffons. In just first game he was only basecoated, now he’s ready to fight for glory and bones :D

Finished a small woodworking project. Before our two boxes for recycling bottles sat upon next other, which made it a bit tricky to teach the lower ones. Now they glide on simple rails, which make it way more convenient.

Except varnish and pigments, my terminator chaplain is finished. This will be my last painted mini for this year. In total I was able to extend my griffons with thirteen terminators. On 2nd of July I’ll field an all terminator army in a game, very excited for that 🙂

After a year, we had another evening playing #firefly #boardgame with seven players. It was an epic adventure and as a bonus, we painted all the ships together before the game started. I’m really surprised how much more immersion this little tweak spent.

I’m absolutely surprised how much better these ruins now look with bases. Second half of bases still needs sanding.
Liked it so much that I challenged my son for a quick game of Firefight, which I lost with devastating 0:3 :D
