"document everything" puts innocent people at risk because the state cares not that they have done nothing illegal. they will use OSINT from the video you took of a crowd with faces visible to identify people to prosecute.

your video "exculpating" them is useless because the ride is the punishment
I should not have to say this but if you are a legal observer your job is not to go snitch on any and all illegal things.

Your job is SPECIFICALLY AND EXCLUSIVELY to record law enforcement brutality, illegality, and overreach.

It is ABSOLUTELY NOT to snitch on protests you find too spicy.

Every day Mamdani comes out and is like "hey guys, I turned off the orphan-crushing machine. Literally just had to flip a switch. Took less than 5 minutes."

After decades of dem leadership pissing and moaning and fundraising about how complex an issue it is and how difficult the process is etc

yeah this is regime collapse, at this level at least.
BREAKING: 8 more U.S. Attorneys in MN resign from Trump’s DOJ in protest as backlash grows.
This isn’t normal; isn’t routine reshuffling. It’s a rebellion.
Last month, 6 veteran prosecutors quit in protest. Normal staffing for the MN DOJ’s office is around 50 attorneys. They’re down to just 9.

Sometimes you have to say it out loud to appreciate how dire t all is:

The president just openly declared his plans to steal the midterm elections — in an interview with the former number two person at the FBI.
Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

Incrementalists take it on the chin again. This is why they hate Mamdani. He's giving up the game that people in power HAVE POWER and don't solely exist to beg you for $5 every day. He's ruining the Democratic Party by showing voters that they have the power to do stuff instead of crouching in fear

If you campaigned for the presidency on a promise to destroy these assholes, you would win a landslide the size of FDR in 1936, when he campaigned on a promise to destroy these assholes.
Yes, Peter decided that the continued existence of our democracies isn't compatible with his desired level of personal freedom.

An absolute enemy of humanity.

This is why I never answer when these scolds demand to know who I vote for. There's no reason to tell them because even if you did the thing they want, you'll still get in trouble for not doing it enthusiastically enough or for the sin of "identifying observable reality."
One thing many people refuse to understand is that voting for Kamala Harris doesn’t excuse you for telling everyone she sucks and convincing others not to vote for her

And today the Treasury Department told me it wouldn't expedite processing of a FOIA for the agreement allowing Qatar to hold the money because it couldn't identify an immediate public interest.

To help out Treasury: It rhymes with corruption. It's also spelled the same as corruption.
SHAHEEN: It's been reported that the oil sold for $500 million and $300 million went to Venezuelan government. What happened to the other $200 million?

RUBIO: It's still sitting in the account is my understanding

SHAHEEN: The account in Qatar?

RUBIO: Yes

We made a culture that reward lack of empathy and encourage competition and tribalism while we are in fact a social, cooperative species.

Especially the masculine version of freedom, which is independence and freedom as lack of accountability and responsibility.

Good to see that many Dem elected officials now want to be seen getting involved in the cases of immigrants who have been wrongly detained by ICE.

Let's spare a word for @vanhollen.senate.gov, who did this for Kilmar Abrego Garcia back when wise pundits said this was politically dangerous.

JUST IN: Democrats flip a red seat in the Texas Senate.

Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards.

With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43.

Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.
