My folks were big jeopardy fans. Was probably the one show they watched pretty religiously. They would have loved this.

Seeing Zohran instantly getting a bunch of shit done in like a week makes you realize that politicians could always do that on some level if they wanted it bad enough and very few of them actually do.

Polls show that only 12% of Americans support President Trump’s plan to seize Greenland. But in this CBS newsroom, that number feels much higher

Vito told his son "never let people know what you are thinking". Trump made a fatal error by getting rattled today and giving the finger. That means he must be hounded in public as a pedophile protector. Trump is toilet scum.

remember when Scottie Scheffler got arrested in Louisville before the PGA Championship for an incident that was strikingly similar to Renee Good and yet everyone was pretty much in agreement that the cop was an overzealous baby?

It used to be that victims of murders in the U.S. would be smeared by InfoWars and Gateway Pundit as a way to fetishize guns and violence for ad dollars and supplement sales, with the added benefit of cozying up to far-right politicians. Now that work is done by CBS News.

I see people talk about ICE by calling them the Gestapo, and while its not hard to see the comparison; they really aught to be compared to something homegrown. Because in truth, the closest thing we can compare ICE to is to federal slave catchers. The operation is the same.

ICE just confronted us in our car saying it’s our first & final warning. There’s nothing illegal about driving your car safely on Stinson, Lowry, or any street in our community.

They are purposefully surging at school get out times terrorizing our families. Ice needs to stay away from our kids.

A WP reporter's home was searched. There'll be some outrage. But it'll become normalized. Then, some reporters will be rounded up, sent to a facility somewhere, and no explanation will be given. And that'll be normalized, too. We'll become desensitized.

At the coffee shop, the barista asked the woman in front of me for a name for her order. She said “Beverly,” and ranted about how they’d better get her order right this time.

When it was my turn, I said, “Looks like Bev rages about beverages.”

They just looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well.

Politicians and civil servants' ideas, both when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood. High academic theorists, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any tarnishing influences, are usually the slaves of some political party's recent platform

In this Ohio diner, Ross still means David Schwimmer. But they do know this: the reason so many ICE officers are angry and isolated is that they don't have any friends.

As elsewhere in US public life, civilian-military relations turn out to depend mostly on norms Trumpers easily ignore. Greenland, etc. may see more resistance than Venezuela has so far. The best book on the subject is still SP Huntington's "The Soldier and the State" (1956), from a happier time.

The government does not have the right to violate our rights, yet it does every day. Because this is true, our guaranteed rights aren’t inalienable—they’re revocable privileges.

We didn’t ignore the Constitution.

The government did.

Kristi Noem stated over the weekend that Americans deserve what they get if they get in the way of law enforcement operations, including the murder of Renee Good. If people get injured or killed, it's on them. Then she is sending more agents to Minneapolis. This Regime wants us killed.
