So while America may be trying to hoard oil… it’s not going to be an economical advantage. The world is moving ahead without us, and we’re trying to hoard a resource people don’t really want anymore. The goal may be an empire, but it’s a goal set by fucking idiots.

You really can’t. American news has been flooding the media, so a lot of headlines abroad have been drowned out; but China has been leading a massive industrial rollout of enough solar energy to surpass the wattage of a nuclear reactor every week. Electric vehicles have achieved plurality in Norway.
