9/11 is one of my first memories i think. mom made us stay with a neighbor that day and the neighbor was trying to keep me playing outside so i didnt need to watch the news
re: 18 year olds being born in 2007 and that not feeling real. I was asked by an 18 year old student who went to my uni “so you remember 9/11 right. what was that like” with the same distant quizzical air as if we might ask someone about WW2 and I don’t think I ever recovered

i was doing much better at work for a short period of time, but unfortunately i had a catastrophic depressive/su*cidal episode the last few weeks and im so far behind on work hours im stressed out of my mind. i rly need my meds and im $200+ behind at best lol...

Archaeologist here. For 99.5% of human history (ca 300-400,000 years), we were peaceful (no war). There was conflict and smaller scale violence, but countless studies on the 119 known modern hunter gatherer groups show cooperation, negotiation, and peace instead of conflict. Please read books.
Revenge/physical combat was how people settled things for literally millions of years, it's normal human behavior, we're wolves not sheep, the government project trying to social engineer us and domesticate us into sheep has been unsuccessful

So, just to be clear, in addition to sending queer people out into the cold to starve or freeze to death, the SA also:
- provides food services for ICE
- provides correctional services to the carceral system
- union busts

The apartment building my Grandparents were living in burned down when my mother was a baby. The Salvation Army assisted the other tenants with emergency housing. They wouldn't help my Mom's family because they were Jewish.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

maybe i’m the only one who’ll sound the alarms on yoshi-p saying “dramatic changes” are coming but i’ve been around long enough to know how devastating that can be to a game. this could either go the route of ESO’s One Tamriel update (which I regard as the best MMO update bar none) or EOC on RS3
