I, for one, cannot understand why men like Rupert Lowe are opposed to banning X, despite it assisting sex offenders, paying people to invite the foreign powers to invade the U.K, and allowing state-sponsored cyber warfare against our democracy.

Hard to reconcile this with the excellent video analysis by other Times staffers showing that the video Trump is relying on (show in the photo here) is not an accurate representation of what happened. Do Times staffers not share information? They should have played their own video for Trump.
