Oh fantastic homage to the blood spilling elevator from The Shining in The Evil Dead rises. Kudos!

In the evil dead series, is it canon that only Bruce Campbell makes it out alive and in (almost) one piece?

Watching the Evil Dead rises. Enjoying the lack of foresight by the priest who puts the warning about the book and its demonic influences on the last disk recording rather than the first.

Awww. I had a quaint old spam message from ‘Bill Gates’ offering to gift me $5mil! Takes me back 30 years to the old days of email. Much nicer than the ones claiming to have stolen all my data or threatening to release my non existent porn habit to friends and family. Much nostalgia!

The December Comfort Watches 2025, Day 16: John Wick
John Wick didn’t have to go so hard. It could have just been about what it says it’s about: A retired bad guy named John Wick (Keanu Reeves), who left the life for the simple pleasures …

Anarchism has some problems as a theoretical framework, but its basic formula of:

- no masters above
- no servants below
- chuck a bomb at the czar every once in a while

Almost never fails to be correct.

Also just tapping the sign again — A.I. eliminates the opportunity for creative discovery on your way to the destination you *thought* you wanted. You’re making art, process is everything.
placeholder art is supposed to look like this. you're supposed to make it in 5 seconds.

it's a crucial part of the process because a placeholder will often be remarkably similar to the final art/text, because you were unburdened by bigger details when you made it.

Every sign suggests we are in a bubble. Oracle missed on earnings, save for a $2.68 bn credit from the sale of Ampere. Broadcom has pushed its supposed OpenAI chip revenue to 2027. Everything looks bleak.

In the comments under every video where I talk about the data and history of civil resistance, there’s inevitably one guy arguing for open warfare. I always call them a cop bc either 1) they are or 2) they will be so ashamed to be mistaken for the worst kind of person on earth that they’ll stfu
Reminder that if anyone is setting you up online to do some crime, THAT PERSON IS A COP.

ALWAYS.

WITHOUT FAIL.
Donald Trump has instructed the entire FBI to prioritize finding ways to bring charges against anti-fascists and other activists. Any FBI agent who wants to advance his career now has an incentive to set up naïve kids for an entrapment case.
