A lot of people in positions of power got their promotions because they were behaving badly.
In sexual harassment cases, institutions use promotions as a way to retain the perpetrator and separate them from their primary victim.

People are going, well the next time the democrats have the presidency. No you don't understand. We're not having elections anymore. Trump is a totalitarian who seized the democratic structures by trangressing & is collapsing America if there will not be strong enough opposition to him.
This is the thing people here truly have not internalized yet and understood. Their are not going to be real midterms or federal elections again if we don't stop them now. That's just the reality.
Can we stop prattling on about midterms and "swingstates" - the entire idea of this authoritarian Musk/Trump regime is that there will not be meaningful elections any longer.
