“I asked ChatGPT” yeah well I asked my autistic friend whose pattern recognition gives her borderline prophetic accuracy even though no one ever listens to her because she’s awkward and has bad timing and says the wrong thing and has no control over her body or volume or brain or

A child dying of cancer spent her final days fighting to free her wrongfully detained father from ICE custody.

This comes just weeks after a mother from Maryland was denied the right to be at her son’s side as he died from cancer.

Not one dime for this cruelty.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

A story from my past - when I "took down a data centre" by plugging in a Dell:

Being accused of taking down a Data Centre, or "what happens when adrian is the only one who isn't oversubscribed on power?"
This happened circa what, 2008? 2007? I forget now. Anyway, it was a while ago now - and it wasn't my fault - but at the time it was pretty ...

Worth watching this in full. The statement is more powerful than this quote alone. Here is is from USA Today, with alt text.

Also! Rich Ruohonen is a personal injury lawyer and the oldest athlete to ever represent the United States in a Winter Games at 54 years old.

Again, the fact they're doing this should echo in your head that they DO have the money for childcare, education, housing and feeding everyone. they choose not to and instead choose to do this.

The USA has the resources. It always has.
The Trump administration is building a network of huge concentration camps, unlike anything seen in the world before. This is monstrous.
NEW: Documents obtained by @wired.com show that ICE has or plans to open more than 150 facilities around the US, in nearly every state, many near major metro areas. @leahfeiger.bsky.social has the scoop: www.wired.com/story/ice-ex...

We literally covered this shit in undergraduate psychology.

Like, tech bros (and all others), if you're listening to me, i'm telling you, studying arts/humanities will help you here. This is unacceptable and also a KNOWN SIDE EFFECT of this kind of policy and why NOONE SHOULD BE DOING IT. EVER.
My colleague got into Trump's sprawling family detention camp, which is full of toddlers, kids, & teens.

- Kids have cut themselves or talked about suicide

-There's worms & mold in food

-300 kids have been held for 30+ days, far longer court settlement allows

I talked about this in a video.

Wearing a 'Fuck Nazis' hat out in your community is performative. And that is good. Performing as a person who cares about your community is good. It's like last year when people were complaining about virtue signaling. Signaling my virtues is good!

I was almost shocked - printing from FreeBSD to my old Epson Stylus NX420 worked a couple years ago when it was USB attached but in this new house it's now setup as network printer. And it worked. Almost.

Except it isn't. The colour alignment is now wrong.

This is a perfect example of "I saw a thing that I could do and I started doing it"
ICE has grabbed so many people from their vehicles that there are abandoned cars across Minnesota.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

They hate the helpers.

Which is why must keep helping.

Juan Leon sends a "chase" car to check out where abandoned vehicles are located and arranges discreet drop-offs. Since late December, he estimated they have dropped off 250 cars.
