It was so quiet on my ride home from the gym that all I could hear was the gentle hum of my bike's tires on the pavement and it brought me a brief bit of peace I have not experienced in a good while.

One worry I have about the local link is if they cut the funding or didn't renew a contract. And slowly more and more people will begin to rely on it. Connectivity is key and we have to maintain it
I'm a bit of a nerd about this - but it's hard to quantify just how popular Local Link buses have been in 'rural Ireland' - new one will link villages from Cork to Kerry that haven't had a bus service since the 1960s... www.corkbeo.ie/news/local-n...

Literally my first thought haha
Every Irish person looking at photos of part of the White House being demolished, and muttering to themselves: ‘There’s no way they got planning permission for that’.

Conversely, I know pretty much the same amount today as I did about Heather Humphreys’s life and values pre-campaign."
Catherine Connolly’s podcasts and viral moments V Heather Humphreys freezing under no pressure.

I wrote about the big differences between how the Irish presidential candidates communicate and connect.
