I might add the village used have a train station but that's another story haha. Someone I know said her dad could walk to the train, go to rosslare and get a boat to Wales, arrive in London in less than 24 hrs door to door

From my home village, you can get a bus at 6:55am and be in Dublin Heuston for 9:30am. Or Cork city by 7:54am.
In a village that had one bus a week on a Saturday. 8am to Cork, 4pm from Parnell place back home.

Exactly, if I had to check my phone every two seconds to see where I'm going I'd be overwhelmed. The quiet in the city centre was also amazing. Couldn't get over how peaceful the whole city was.
