You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you?

Maybe they’ll distract the kidnappers long enough for me to get away?

Hey I just want to remind everyone that even if vaccines did cause autism (they don’t), they also cause ALIVE CHILDREN, and if you don’t think an alive autistic child is something to celebrate, please fuck off into the sun forever
The U.S. government is now inarguably spreading medical disinformation that is going to kill babies preferentially.

Period.

This is an INTOLERABLE. UNPRECEDENTED. DANGEROUS. ATTACK. ON ALL OF US.

You are not bold and interesting for thinking not all genre romance books should have a happy ending. You are a person with an (extremely trite, at this point) opinion who should read genres of books that are not romance.

I got to “honored to be your ancestor” and started sobbing. I don’t even know what to say. It’s cliche to say that someone was a light, but Alice was, in both the sense of being a warm glow to find your way home and bright sun to burn the fuck out of the unwary. I hope we can honor her legacy.

Know this, @schumer.senate.gov — if you cave, we will not rest until you are primaried and wrested from your seat. When kids on SNAP aren’t being fed, we’re even more hungry for justice. New York has shown you the people’s power just days ago. You *could* join with us, still, and do the right thing.

You can't live your life based on hate - that way lies madness and bitterness - but allowing yourself to slip into hater mode from time to time is a lovely little treat, like a drunk cigarette or a decadent slice of cake

I keep thinking back to this story. One time I subbed for my preschool teacher sister. She‘d told the kids multiple times that she‘d be out, and some of them were still freaking out that she was missing. One only accepted me as a sub because my sis and I look alike. These kids must be TRAUMATIZED.
Imagine having a kid in this daycare who watches as their teacher is bodily dragged away by masked goons.

The same week that SNAP doesn’t go out for the first time in its history Elon gets a trillion dollar package.

And 600,000 people have died from the cuts he made to USAID.

None of this is at all ok.

No matter how hard people try to convince us having empathy is wrong,

it is right.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,

it is a strength.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,

it is unlimited.

i’m continually struck by the joy zohran has brought to this election and the absolute venom with which it’s been met.
For New Yorkers who work the night shift, it can be nearly impossible to participate in political life of our city.

So tonight we’re bringing this campaign to them — starting with taxi drivers waiting at LaGuardia.

Two things can be true at the same time: neither charities nor mutual aid groups have the capacity to completely replace SNAP benefits for November, *and* we should still do as much as we can to feed people and save lives.

People really need to wrap their heads around HOW ATTENUATED our election cycles have gotten.

They're acting like the Maine primary was a race between Platner and Mills only and it's too late for anyone else to jump in.

The deadline to REGISTER FOR IT is in MARCH!

Go out and recruit SOMEONE ELSE

I honestly think that trying to legislate what was in Platner's heart and what/when he understood is a trap. It doesn't matter to me.

It's actually okay to just go, "man I'd love to believe you've changed but I'm going to need to see proof of it in a place with lower stakes than the US Senate"

This is so needed. I’m scrambling trying to help an elderly lady in section 8 housing find a foster for 2 dogs to no avail. She needs back surgery and won’t be able to take care of them as she’s bedridden. She will be forced to turn them into overcrowded city kill shelter💔 anyone in LA who can help?

Also, a total lie that American students have been crowded out by international students. International students effectively subsidize the tuition of American students!
Quite a feat to go from this to "and therefore universities must ban faculty and students from belittling conservative ideas"

Buffalo is for sure part of the Midwest. We drink pop and play euchre, and our accent is closer to Wisconsin than NYC.
i’d day this nails the South as well
This is the most accurate depiction of the Midwest to date. Wichita has always felt like the last Midwest city while also being the first plains city.
