This is why it infuriates me when the flagshaggers use terms like ‘ethnically English’. There’s no such fucking thing.

wow i didn't realise they had iphones back then!
In 1582, a papal bull introduced the Gregorian calendar, still used today by most of the world. Because it’s 11 days ahead of the Julian calendar, countries introducing it simply skipped a third of October, and if you scroll back far enough in the iPhone calendar app you can see it change

Look, for fuck’s sake, humans have been migrating continuously for our entire existence.

Every single human in the world is the product of migration.

It’s what humans do. There is nothing *more* human.

That’s never going to change.

Just grow up, get the fuck over it and plan accordingly.

To be clear: MTG is an absolute monster and deserves no support or forgiveness for what she has done

That being said, her sensing the tide changing and jumping ship to be a "Respectable Republican" who distances herself from the Trump regime is one of the biggest signs things are crumbling FAST
BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.

Labour's MP for Folkestone says the government has taken "the wrong turning" on its plans for asylum seekers.

"The rhetoric around these reforms encourages the same culture of divisiveness that sees racism and abuse growing in our communities."

And no one who still believes in all the things a Labour party is supposed to stand for should remain a member because you are now in a right wing, racist transphobic, anti-immigrant, party led by venal dullards only interested in power and serving capital
Hard to understand how the UK Labour party has even a single member left, seeing as it it has now become everything that you imagine someone once drawn to joining a Labour party is vehemently against. No one joins a Labour party hoping to punch down on the weakest and advance far right arguments

Yeah, they've done a lot of good stuff and it's buried beneath all the media hatebait on immigration. But now they're leaning into it, tacking with it, applauded by the most miserable joyless fucking people on earth and I reckon this is the bleakest I've ever felt about a Labour government...

Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

There is a tragic irony that a man named after Keir Hardy is overseeing the death of the Labour Party.

Labour policy is being celebrated by Tommy Robinson.

That's it.

That's all you ever need to say to explain who Labour are.

Here’s what you won’t hear from some commentators on social media: in the year to October, London recorded 10,000 fewer violent crimes leading to injury than it did in the twelve months before I was elected.

'London is world's best city - people claiming it's lawless hate its success'
'The fact that London has again been crowned greatest city in the world disproves everything our critics claim, and they can’t stand it', the London Mayor Sadiq Khan writes

The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

There is a political alternative that won’t ever scapegoat those fleeing war, persecution and torture

Note, the far right guys aren’t going ‘we can vote Labour now they’re speaking our language’, they’re going ‘look, these idiots are smoothing the way for the extremist parties we have very openly said we’ve going to vote for for several years now.’

Is it a small boat?
…and Reeves is in a similar boat.

The Chancellor now has the worst satisfaction scores we’ve recorded for a Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Prev. lows include Kwasi Kwarteng (Oct 22: 12% satisfied, 65% dissatisfied).

I’m sure having Stephen Yaxley Lennon endorse your immigration policy is a great sign for a “leftwing” party.
Elon Musk’s friend is one of the only people thrilled by Labour’s new immigration policy

It’s time to stop calling Labour a “centre left” party as they offer little sign of it in how they’re running the UK

Using Golden Ticket to describe people who have fled war and destitution to legally seek asylum. An internationally recognized legal right that the UK is treaty bound to recognize is pure cruelty and evil. It is the language of Nazis, of deportations, of camps and life unworthy of life. Evil.
