The Pellicle Essential Guide to Pub Ettiquette!

Already noted as curmudgeonly by @boakandbailey.bsky.social, we prefer "righteously bothered."

Table rezzies, bogey-filled tissues in empty glasses, rounds and more, all documented for posterity.

Bluesky hivemind: Need to find a new PAYG SIM for an elderly relative's emergency non-smart mobile phone. Zero data needed because they don't use the internet at all, pretty minimal usage so won't be regularly topped up either. Does such a thing even exist from any provider anymore?

Our walls have heard 130 years of Manchester stories, laughter, music, and a fair few pints. 🍺 We’re proud to be part of this city’s soul, but we need your support to help protect The Marble Arch for generations to come.

That new Get The Shot track is really good. Was really sad to hear about JP leaving a while back given what a presence he was in the band, but new vocalist guy has really come out swinging. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcFq...

Everyone talking about scary movies today is making me want to rewatch the excellent Jacob's Ladder again. You can really see the inspiration that Silent Hill 2 took from it and it's wild how many people haven't seen it before www.imdb.com/title/tt0099...

Artists behind some of the most popular films of all time are also forging one of the most powerful organized resistances to AI.

With solidarity, class action lawsuits and strong legislation, they're fighting to protect their livelihoods, and pop culture, from big tech.
