I dreamt Jamie Oliver was a really high up Roman Freemason and he’d invented a ritual called RAGGIO POLPO where prospects had to eat an immense raw octopus that weighed about ten stone as he sat on a purple throne clapping and laughing and shouting ‘get it down you!’.
I’m not a huge Manics fan as I only really like the first three but, tell you what - Gold Against The Soul is a *fantastic* record. I love it! Big, beefy, daft. Sheer 1993, too. Why is it never mentioned? V.underrated.
