I've been teaching about the far-right now for like, 3 years, and the best I've come up with (from a class analysis POV) is that they are a particularly middle class neurosis, tied particularly to rentism, inheritance and economic entitlement.
i think the issue is that no one really has a good theory of the radical right and its relationship to class politics or the economy and so we retreat to vague tropes
This entire quote chain re US Taiwan policy, but also, AOC also fucked up by attributing AfD to rising inequality (in fact, inequality under Ampel if anything fell a little, from already decently low levels). At some point someone will have the anti-fascist chops to use words like "traitors."
