I feel this so hard, and it falls into a similar vein as the "going to sleep, if you catch me awake after this I didn't lie, I failed" kind of stuff. Either way, being forced to continue on like that is extremely unhealthy and I hope we can all not have to soon 💜

I missed the networking discourse, did anyone talk about the fact that during BLM Black creators and academics were reached out to in record numbers and then when we thought we had solidarity it vanished? Which led to many folks suffering representational burn out and distrust for ttrpgs as a whole?

I have moved past the fear of making something bad. I will make things, good or bad
What I have not yet overcome is the void. Silence is holding me back. Ideally people will like my work, but it's okay if it is disliked. But I *need* people to acknowledge that it exists.

As we enter the New Year remember fear of making bad art is holding you back. Fear of people not liking your work is holding you back. Rejection is holding you back
