Check this one search, with and without AI, you get completely opposing answers.

Cllr Oliver Moran said that “we may recognise the boundary between the city and the county but air pollution doesn't. It is one Cork harbour."

Cllr Honore Kamegni said the incinerator “is something that is going to affect all of us.”
Fears voiced in Cork over revived plans for €200m incinerator in harbour – ‘it is a city issue too’
Cork city councillors have joined their county council colleagues in voicing opposition to the revived plans to build an incinerator at Ringaskiddy, saying the facility would also impact the city and ...

Grateful to colleagues across parties on Cork City Council standing behind our county colleagues in their submission on the proposed incinerator at Ringaskiddy.

Cork Harbour is a shared resource between the two local authorities. Air pollution doesn't stop at the boundary between city and county.

A clear eyed look by @attractaub.bsky.social at the political narrative on JR & 'objectors'

'A contrary view is that this narrative on judicial reviews is to create a distraction from Government’s ongoing failures by scapegoating the public and the courts. '

Judicial reviews serve the common good
Rather than castigating public-spirited ordinary people concerned by planning problems, the Government should focus on properly resourcing the planning and legal systems

There’s a reason good planning takes time. It’s about the checks and balances, and finding the solution that works best for most people.
This is going to get very messy & quickly. Remember the last time they tried this with housing, where they bypassed County Councils and applications went straight to An Bord Pleanála? Remember how they stopped doing that when it made everything worse?

If this ceasefire happens - and I hope it does - Western media will talk about 'peace'. This will be inaccurate. What they will mean is 'quiet', a reversion to the background level of violence that Palestinians have faced for decades. Peace can only come with the end of the occupation and apartheid.

If the threat were from any other quarter, our whole economy, political system, society, *everything* would be mobilised to head it off, like during COVID.
