This was ultimately my point, less an argument about nukes though I'm on the side of There Must Have Been A Better Way because that's my take in general.

WWII was covered over 2pgs in my World History class in h.s.(I graduated in 94.) I've learned more about the history of events on our own soil more in the last 20yrs than I ever did in school & more world history in the last 10.I had a leg up than most because my mom taught history.
