“It apologized” what the fuck are you talking about

Can a USB cable apologize

When your light bulb burns out is it because she’s sad
The way the press is treating chatbots, like they have agency and they “know” things all of a sudden, crossed the line recently from dumb and obsequious to something else entirely. Treating them as alive and making conscious decisions is an almost religious belief. It won’t age well.

there will be major challenges here, I’m sure, but it’s so encouraging that Mamdani is trying to keep everyone engaged

LET'S GIVE THE CEO A BILLIONS AND BILLIONS BONUS
Tesla car sales have shrunk two years in a row.

Tesla "Robotaxis" still need a human in the driver's seat so they don't kill pedestrians.

Tesla's "Full Self Driving" has been one update away for a decade.

Tesla's androids are just MoCap rigs.

Who's investing in this company?

guys, "the judges at the ICC are being sanctioned by the USA and can't access their iphones or bank accounts" and "why aren't any countries banning twitter or prosecuting elon musk for owning a site that manufactures CSAM" stories are the same story

This was ultimately my point, less an argument about nukes though I'm on the side of There Must Have Been A Better Way because that's my take in general.

A sliver, A TINY SLIVER, of WW2 is taught to our kids, and it's a convenient lens that forgets a whole lot MORE dead people.
WWII was covered over 2pgs in my World History class in h.s.(I graduated in 94.) I've learned more about the history of events on our own soil more in the last 20yrs than I ever did in school & more world history in the last 10.I had a leg up than most because my mom taught history. We fail our kids
