A manager for the Immigrant Defense Network told MPR News that back in November, 2,500 people were trained as constitutional observers. Now, the total is nearly 30,000 trained observers in 77 of Minnesota's 87 counties.

An important lesson, relentlessly repeated by @edburmila.bsky.social, et al.
Never give an inch. We've been giving inches to appear "moderate" since the 1990s, and now half the country is okay with masked men shooting mothers in the face.
This is something he / they do a lot, manipulating the Overton window. Trump says something outrageously extreme and impractical. Then they (as NYT obliges here) get to "walk back" and sound like they're compromising in merely doing the outrageously evil instead of the impossible delusion version.

I was curious where ICE and CBP agents in Minnesota were deploying from, so I looked at OPM data. What I found is that their duty stations are almost universally redacted from the public data. www.pbump.net/o/where-are-...
Where are ICE and Border Patrol agents coming from?
The duty stations of nearly every ICE and CBP officer is redacted in OPM data.

I think it is OUTRAGEOUS that people are LEAPING to the conclusion that some our post prominent Americans are child rapists when it is EQUALLY PLAUSIBLE that they are simply indifferent to whether other people are child rapists so long as those other people can offer them access to power.

4 years ago you couldn't stop these people yelling "tyranny!" when asked to suffer the mild inconvenience of wearing a mask. But now? Armed and masked men dragging US citizens from their homes in their underwear? Shooting a mom 3 times in the head?

For those of you thinking DJ Moore blanking on that interception, remember that earlier in the game he banged his head on the frozen turf and had a concussion evaluation.

He was never right after he went back in.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

There's no oscillation. A program designed to force a white supremacist society to include people who are being unnaturally restricted is not discriminatory, and is good.

White christian conservatives wouldn't be able to handle actual discrimination. They can't even handle equality. Weak.

A bonus post for Strength In Numbers subscribers! Using 10k interviews conducted with voters since May 2025, I've calculated issue approval for Trump's key policies in all 50 states (+DC). Here's how each state thinks Trump is handling prices (it's bleak) www.gelliottmorris.com/p/what-voter...
