Good news for #BikeHfx owners of Rad Power Bikes. It looks like the folks at Zen e-Bikes are going to be able to support you with batteries, chargers, motors and related electrical components.
A post from the EBike Nova Scotia Facebook group, which reads: We’re sorry to hear about Rad Power Bikes filing for Chapter 11 and plans to close operations in January 2026. We know this creates real uncertainty for many riders in our community. For Rad Power owners in Nova Scotia/Atlantic Canada, we want to help where we can. Zen EBikes can support affected riders with key components such as batteries, chargers, motors and related electrical parts. Our team is familiar with the component supply chain used by Rad Power, and as an OEM ourselves, we understand the technical nuances that may not be apparent to the general public. Of course, they left out the part where I said that some people think the bollards are better than nothing and others feel they are so narrow that we would be better off without them. I talked about the broader issues of seasonal maintenance on all bike lanes as well (thus the photo on Almon).
