My kids remembrance day ceremony was wild. A bin rat legionnaire gave a sales pitch for poppies and David Hendsbee got up off the stage mid ceremony to go take a picture of the wreaths that definitely could have waited until the end of the assembly.

Nice.
New traffic signals are now active at the Barrington Street crosswalk in front of Scotia Square. Push the button, wait for the light, look both ways and cross safely. The new lights enhance pedestrian safety, improve traffic flow and help people get where they’re going.

Narrator: They did not keep fighting.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
