Kohlberg’s model of morality is a well‑known theory of moral development that describes how people’s reasoning about right and wrong evolves over time. It was formulated by Lawrence Kohlberg in the late 1950s and early 1960s, building on earlier work by Jean Piaget. 🧵

I just can't fucking get over this.

I started an entire goddamn company because it's so impossible to find good references of clothing these days, and meanwhile people who have no idea what they're talking about are telling skilled craftspeople to do their job with slop.

FUCK.
If you need really high quality reference material of clothing from any historical era and you want to make sure the data is captured by human people who want to use it ethically, @render-ready.com is literally right here

This is a bad excuse for lazy craftsmanship
Cmon man maybe you should double check your posts before towing the company line.

Ok.

As a game developer, I choose to pick this battle for my fellow devs. I promise you those in the trenches are not ok with this, but don't want to stir the pot.

Larian upper management needs to know this is wrong.

“Uh did you actually read what the CEO said?”

Yeah and now I’ve also read what other employees have said and it paints a pretty fucking depressing picture, no matter how much a rich dude insists “no no guys see this version of the shitty thing you hate will be okay because you won’t see it”

Every writer who generates a slop image for their work is a class traitor.

"I can't afford a visual artist"

So your solution is stabbing artists in the back? Stealing from them?

Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov I want you to watch this video of me slammed to the ground- why are you allowing this to happen to people you know are on the right side of history. They tied my hands behind my back and when I asked them to be loosened because I was going numb they said, “STFU.”
at one point, i watched a cook county sheriff’s officer (who appears to be in charge) point out a priest in the crowd.

he and a couple officers then went into the crowd , dragged him into the street, and arrested him.

situation is still tense as crowd jostles with police to get into the street.

So about that harm reduction claim everyone was making
BREAKING: SCOTUS extends Justice Jackson’s administrative stay in the SNAP benefits case through 11:59p Thursday—presumably hoping to moot out the request if the shutdown ends. Jackson wouldn’t have extended the admin stay and would deny DOJ’s stay request.

🧵 Okay so yesterday's vote has me needing to share something.

I've been tracking these 8 Democratic senators for months, and yesterday's surrender on healthcare wasn't surprising—it was predictable.

Let me show you why:

1) Caving on the shutdown proves Trump’s assertion that Democrats were the problem and that he was right to remain strong despite pressures

2) His takeaway for the next fight will be that Democrats will eventually cave as long as he holds out and refuses to negotiate
like this is basically it, the melts melted under pressure

it is pretty darkly funny seeing posts like URGENT!!!! it is SUNDAY EVENING you must PUT DOWN YOUR DINNER and call your senator IMMEDIATELY to politely request they not press the big button marked "fuck you". this will not actually stop them from pressing the fuck you button. functioning democracy

More Senate Dems than will vote yes tonight actually want to vote yes.

They’re letting colleagues who aren’t under threat of being primaried serve in the role of rotating villain and take the heat—and they’ll make statements claiming they’re against caving.

LOTS of disingenuous political theater.

I'm...at a loss honestly

I know it's an administrative stay and will in all likelihood be dissolved in a few days, & I assume she had a procedural strategy reason

But we're talking about *food funding* and an implicit promise of procedural reasons seems like a poor substitute for basic human needs
UPDATE: Justice Jackson temporarily blocks SNAP benefits order to allow appeals court to rule.

DOJ asked SCOTUS for a stay as USDA was in the middle of completing its process for making full payments. Jackson's order came a little past 9 p.m.

"For procedural reasons Justice Jackson had to issue the stay, I'm sure her legal reasoning was sound...."

PEOPLE. ARE. STARVING. Can they eat the rules of procedure? No? THEN FEED THEM.

The purpose of a system is what it does. And if the rules of procedure allow people to starve, they're wrong.

Dogs barking.
