Today is World Jellyfish Day!

So of course we’re taking a look at Jellyfish Lake by Dorothy Cross, which was filmed in an isolated lake in Micronesia where millions of golden jellyfish migrate across the lake daily.

Happy Samhain and Halloween to everyone!!

And it's time for my annual PSA that women brewing in UK and Ireland were not removed from the beer trade via en masse witchcraft accusations and the modern witch stereotype doesn't come from their garb either

Friendly reminder, if you see someone this Halloween wearing the plague doctor with the bird beak mask costume, you have to ask them what they are supposed to be and if they then say they're a medieval plague doctor... it's your duty to correct them ;)

The new tariffs are going to hit artists particularly hard if it means losing customers in the US, so I'd ask Irish people to please consider buying local, from Irish makers, where at all possible. Support that means little to a huge business makes a massive difference to small creators. We need ye.
ℹ️ Information from An Post relevant to Irish artists selling to the US - still no clarity elsewhere about what the charges will be, time will tell.

Famine has not “struck” Gaza.

It is not the result of some natural disaster. It has been engineered.

Famine has been inflicted upon the people of Gaza by Israel, who have been facilitated by their enabler allies.
