The solution to this (as for all blackmail) is just to overshare all your medical experiences so there's nothing in it everyone hasn't already heard way more times and in way more detail than they ever wanted to know in the first place.

Last night our venue for an upcoming event cancelled on us because the rain damaged their building. Getting ANY venue in Los Angeles has been really hard, so getting a replacement feels daunting. It's ok, we will sort something out, but oh my god. Really good way to start the year.
