Gave a public comment about the council amendment to cut some of the Portland sweeps budget. Lots of 'oppose,' sign up to do that or to give testimony at the actual meeting on Wed. to 'support' if you are so inclined. Sweeps are so horrible. www.portland.gov/council/docu...

I'm enjoying the latest @keithrosson.bsky.social novel COFFIN MOON! Read a chunk yesterday tabling at the comic swap between crowds, and had to read an even bigger chunk today! Lots of cool Portland stuff. Lost Boys movie was a very good pairing for the release event at Hollywood Theatre.

Fun to see a different crowd in Salem yesterday. I did get folks bargaining again (which is fine! It's a swap, not a con or a brick & mortar). One guy was all, Not unless it's Half-Price Books! Uh, it's a new book on wholesale, I'd get nothing, BTW it's sold-out all over (Abs Batman v1).

I didn't participate much in the 'guy fainted at White House' discourse yesterday but it's interesting how some stuff like that catches on. People can almost directly relate to seeing a cruel person who ignores someone right there needing help.
