Also wow thanks to everyone involved for the Supergirl buzz! I had a smattering of the 1st few issues stuck in a box with the shop closing and have been cleaning up selling them on eBay. (The publishers think movie or TV equals instant buzz/more $$ but it's not often the case. This time it was.)

Also wow thanks to everyone involved for the Supergirl buzz! I had a smattering of the 1st few issues stuck in a box with the shop closing and have been cleaning up selling them on eBay. (The publishers think movie or TV equals instant buzz/more $$ but it's not often the case. This time it was.)

Storage unit is empty! That was a 3-4 month project! Next step is clearing out some of the bulk (5 longboxes of GNs, 5-10 of current comics, I have some nibbles). Goal is to have a smaller somewhat portable & organized collection. I will be tabling at the Frankenstein Swap on 10/18 at Lloyd Center.

Canceled the Hulu. Never did sign up for Disney Plus! Junior was past interest in the kids stuff when it became a thing, & I just want to watch good shows, not constant new content. More of an HBO guy.

@thefixinto.bsky.social in St Johns has a JAWS pinball machine! It's really deluxe with movie clips etc. The person with the high score is ASS (def not me). I will be doing a Comic Cave popup on Saturday starting around when they open at 1 :). It's Batman Day too and it's also Elvira's birthday!

Batman Deadpool comes out that week and I'll have (a few!) copies available for sale (a few were pre-ordered as well). It's fitting, because in Detective #1000 we saw Batman mourning his parents under what sure looks like the iconic St. Johns Bridge!

We popped over to see our friends at Third Eye Bag in SE Portland to grab some cool stuff! Wonderful Black-owned bookstore where you always find something cool. Please support, I guess business has been down in these times. Great online offerings too!

Fun (Portsmouth) neighborhood garage sale today, I sold some comic bundles and Pam sold some of her premium yarn. Kenton neighborhood sale is 8/9-8/10! (We're on Chautauqua, our side of the street is Portsmouth, across the street is Kenton, so we do both!)
