And here we go, Waymo's blog post on this asserts how a human driver would have done "in this same situation" where by "same" they mean driving 17 mph when a lower speed may have been more appropriate and definitely safer.

Republicans could end this it any time and I think every single Republican member of Congress should be asked daily why they continue to allow this. They are cowards who want to destroy our country and should have to carry that shame.
Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.
