Interesting piece. Tldr is that the Trump DOJ + TX leg botched their redistricting badly such that, under very recent SCOTUS precedent, it is unconditional. And also there is no logically consistent way to find TX constitutional while overturning Prop 50. But SCOTUS majority has no shame, so 🤷♂️
